New Canaan Mom, Son Flee Home After Break-in
A New Canaan woman fled her home with her son on Monday night after hearing loud banging from a room; a police investigation is continuing.
A New Canaan woman fled her home with her son Monday night after she heard a loud crash and banging coming from a room.
At about 7 p.m., the woman heard the loud noises coming from a locked office/bedroom on the main floor of her home on Louises Lane. She went to the door of the room and yelled, then decided to flee.
She and her son went to a neighbor's home, where she called police.
New Canaan police searched the home with a K-9 unit, which detected a scent. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
