To me this seems like the author Corey Sipe didn't do a thorough investgation for more informationRead More on the matter click on the link and form your own opinion on what REALLY happened http://mac-n-out.com/media/

Mac N Cheese is not some ingenious invention. There are hundreds of recipes online. Just like thereRead More are hundreds of pizza places and burger places. I'm surprised that this made any kind of article here, let alone the pure ridiculousness of the actual article by just quoting on one side of an obviously bigger issue. I bet what really happened was that this guys daughter was so pissed after this guy Dunn stole all that money from her father that she decided to start her own place and take this guy down. Well, all I could say is really poor journalism and very poorly written article! At the end of the day, I don't really care what is going on personally with these places, if I like the food, I go back. Look forward to now trying this place out!

CT Service Plaza I-95 Milford Northbound Page has no hours of operation.

I thought it was up to a business to decide their hours? I think if they want to decide to be closedRead More it's their decision to make, I have never seen laws dictating a business had to be open. There is a fixed cost for them yo be open and it seems doubtful one person would ever cover that.

Since the state owns the property the plazas are on, they should have made a deal with ProjectRead More Service for 24 hour service. We do not know how many people would take advantage of this if it was fully advertised, I'm sure it would be more than 1 person otherwise fast food restaurants wouldn't be open 24 hours.

Blogger's Note: The article previously incorrectly stated that Macdaddy's Macaroni and Cheese BarRead More would open in the Darien I-95 Northbound Service Plaza. It should have stated that Mac-N-Out is the tenant that will open in the plaza. I apologize for this error.

Does any one know what happened to the original proposal to build a single restaurant on a platformRead More over I95 in order to create more parking spaces where the existing buildings stand?
Corey Sipe April 28, 2013 at 11:02 pm
The DOT made a proposal for an over the highway plaza with multiple food and retail outlets with gasRead More stations and parking on both sides. When Project Service LLC was chosen for the 35 year contract for the plazas there was no stipulation they had to follow that recommendation and instead were asked to follow more broad recommendations like upgrading facilities, offering more food choices, increase truck parking (which they did to some degree), and provide tourism services (the kiosks and allowing CT Tourism Office to occupy space in the plazas closest to the CT border). I think the over the highway concept was a great idea but probably the cost was too high plus some communities like Milford and Fairfield objected saying it would ruin the view (not sure what view though).
