Police alleged to have found additional smoking apparatuses and drug-weighing tools in the vehicle.

A 19-year-old Darien man was arrested early Sunday morning on marijuana charges after a patrol officer allegedly caught the man smoking with a bong, police said Monday.

According to authorities, an officer on patrol in the vicinity of 53 Old Kings Highway spotted a 2001 GMC Sierra parked in a lot there and approached the vehicle.

Darien police said they discovered Conner Cicero, of 11 Crimmins Rd., asleep at the wheel. The officer also allegedly detected the odor of marijuana and could spot in plain view a 12-inch bong on the center console in plain view.

A search of the vehicle allegedly produced four additional smoking devices and a duffel bag on the rear seat that contained a digital scale, grinder and packing materials, police said. Authorities said they allegedly seized a total of approximately 6 grams of marijuana.
