Fireworks Over Darien High School

Speaking of lights at the high school… the town fireworks display will once again be held at Darien High School this Sunday July 1st.

Speaking of lights at the high school… the town fireworks display will once again be held at Darien High School this Sunday July 1st (rain is date Tuesday, July 3rd).   The fireworks event will also feature food, vendors, and music and all proceeds go to the Town of Darien Firefighter’s Foundation, which is also helping to organize the event.

To make the evening more enjoyable and hassle free, Palmer’s Market is preparing picnic baskets so dinner will be taken care of for you.   In addition, Palmer’s Market will donate a percentage of the proceeds from the picnic basket sales to the Town of Darien Firefighters’ Foundation.  Visit the Palmer’s Market website to pre-order picnic baskets by Thursday, June 28, and baskets can be picked up after 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 1, no later than 7 p.m.

And, if you are looking for a festive outfit to wear to the 4th of July event, the iTownstore is selling T-shirts designed by Abby St. Jean, a third grader at School, and Emma Seely, a sixth grader at M.   The T-shirts were selected in a contest sponsored by the Darien Fighfighters’ Foundation.  The iTownstore will also donate proceeds from the T-shirt sales to the Firefighters’ Foundation.  Go the iTownstore website to order the 4th of July T-shirts and look for the Firefighters Foundation link under Non-Profit tab.

With your outfit, dinner, and entertainment all planned out for you, the fireworks event at the Darien High School is sure to be a fantastic 4th of July celebration for your family and our community.

yes, we LOVE Glen Gate. Worth every penny and they always come quickly if something is not workingRead More (even on memorial day last year!!) Their staff is so kind, respectful and polite, especially with my children. I like them so much I always remember them at Christmas.
