Idea Students Earn Perfect Scores in This Year’s Wordmasters Competitions

WordMasters is a national thinking skills competition that offers three challenges each year. Idea students participate in the WordMasters’ Gold division and are introduced to vocabulary that is at least two years above grade level. Beyond expanding vocabulary, WordMasters’ analogies require that students develop a deeper understanding of the nuance of meanings associated with these words. Youngsters hone critical thinking and abstract reasoning skills as they analyze possible relationships between words to determine analogy solutions.
