In response to the world hunger crisis, Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)
Mobilepack™ returns to Darien October 20-21, 2012. This marks the 4th year where Mannapack rice meals packed at Middlesex Middle School have been sent to needy children in countries like Haiti, Nicaragua, and Guatemala.
Hosted jointly by the churches of Darien and co-sponsored by the Council for Darien School Parents (CDSP), this year’s goal is to pack 240,000 meals, which will take the total number of meals packed to ONE MILLION. Stella Clarke, Joint Churches FMSC Coordinator observes, “It’s wonderful to see God at work as the community comes together to serve others, it has been a great joy to work with the organizing team which is made up of people from the different Darien churches.”
Feed My Starving Children enables small miracles worldwide. Take 3-year-old Marilyn from Haiti who at 14 pounds was in the last stages of starvation. After eating MannaPack meals twice a day over several months she returned to normal development and now weighs 33 pounds.
