The Darien Republican Town Committee is accepting applications to fill a vacancy created recently by the resignation of Dick DiDonna. Mr. DiDonna a former RTC Vice Chair has been chosen to replace a departing member of the Planning & Zoning Commission.
To be a member of the RTC you must be a registered Republican in the town of Darien. The RTC recruits and recommends Republicans for town boards, commissions and other offices, raises funds for local, state and federal campaigns and provides support for the Darien Republican Party. The committee meets monthly and members serve two-year terms. The current term ends in early 2014.
