The Darien High School music honor society, Tri-M, is holding an instrument drive for the next two weeks.
The drive will collect all types of new and used instruments and give them to Horns for Kids, a non profit organization, that will refurbish and distribute these instruments to public schools in the state of Connecticut.
Instrument donations are tax deductible. Instruments are being collected (and tax forms will be available) at the DHS band room before school, at the Middlesex Middle School Rotunda starting on December 19th and at the Darien Sport Shop on Saturday, Dec. 17 and Sunday, Dec. 18, where musical groups from Darien High School will be performing.
