Feed My Starving Children Reaches Goal: Over 1 Million Meals Packed

This weekend over 1,200 volunteers of all ages came together at Middlesex Middle School to pack 248,832 Mannapack Rice meals for starving children.

The 4th Annual Feed My Starving Children MobilePack hosted jointly by the churches of Darien and co-sponsored by the Council for Darien School Parents was a great success.

Total meals packed by our Darien community came to one million eight thousand nine-hundred and thirty-six!

Each two-hour shift was great fun with families, friends, sports teams and youth groups packing alongside each other, chatting and singing along to music as they worked.

What a great way to serve the needy and bring life and hope to starving children around the world!

yes, we LOVE Glen Gate. Worth every penny and they always come quickly if something is not workingRead More (even on memorial day last year!!) Their staff is so kind, respectful and polite, especially with my children. I like them so much I always remember them at Christmas.
