Marked enthusiasm was on display Sunday at the opening of Darien’s Republican Headquarters. Republican Town Committee Chairman Bob Bewkes welcomed special quests and a crowd of supporters noting the significance of this year’s election.
Special guests included U.S. Congressional candidate Steve Obsitnik, State Senate candidate Jack Chiaramonte, State Representative candidate Nicola Tarzia, and State Representative Terrie Wood, who is seeking re-election in the 141st District.
In addition, Darien’s First Selectman Jayme Stevenson and Selectman Dave Campbell joined the festivities along with Betsy Hagerty-Ross, Board of Education Chair, and Sarah Schneider-Zuro, Board of Education member, both of whom are seeking re-election.
Darien GOP Headquarters is located at 1072 Post Road (across from Scena). Stop by to pick up campaign materials and visit with fellow supporters.
