Are your old vases taking up too much space in the house? It’s a common problem after the holidays. Vases from Mother’s Day and Valentine’s can stack up in cupboards, wardrobes and on shelves. has introduced a program that helps their customers recycle old vases.
Customers are invited to bring in a minimum of 5 vases at a time. In return, Nielsen’s presents the donor with flowers. The program has been cleverly named ‘Trading Vases’ at the suggestion of long time customer, Susie Quinn and is already getting a huge response.
There has been an amazing buzz about the new program. Customers new and old are so excited to come in and receive their flowers. We’ve had to devote a whole area in the back just to accommodate all the vases!
‘Trading Vases’ is running indefinitely with vases being accepted Monday-Thursday. Again, the minimum trade is five vases. Call Nielsen’s Florist at 203-655-2541 for more information.
