Wallace, a 5 month old, light colored Golden Retriever went missing Sunday evening after the DHS fireworks frightened the puppy, and he took off running down Hummingbird Lane towards Wee Burn CC at 9:30pm.
As of Monday afternoon, New Canaan Police think they may have spotted the dog, along with another Golden Retriever that the police were able to round up, running southbound next to the Merritt Parkway between exits 37 and 36.
Several searches of the Merritt, Waveny and the vicinity have come up empty. The owners are asking that anyone who may come in contact with the friendly dog, please contact them at (203) 656-6698 or cell (203) 984-5998. The dog does have a tag on his collar with his name and the tel. number.
