Noroton Volunteer Fire Department would like to remind our neighbors with fire hydrants on (or near) their property to please shovel the hydrants from the snow.
We try to clear as many as possible, but could certainly use the support from our neighbors! Shoveling of hydrants could save crucial time in responding to an emergency.
