New Canaan, CT – Entry deadline is December 5th, 2013 for online entries and mailed CD entries to The 34th Annual Photography Exhibition at the Carriage Barn Arts Center in Waveny Park, New Canaan. Receiving Days for the artworks are January 5th, 1-5 pm, and January 6th, 10 am – 3 pm. Entries received after the deadline will not be included in the exhibition.
All subjects and styles will be considered. One area of focus will be innovative presentation and process. Noteworthy processes and printing techniques are of particular interest to the jury. Artists should make note of any distinctive presentation of the artwork if applicable, since this is one of the aspects of a piece that will be reviewed. Cash prizes include Best in Show, Presentation, Process, and Student categories. Entries are online at www.carriagebarn.org.

An Opening Reception will be held on Saturday, January 11th from 6 - 8 pm. The Reception is free and open to the public. The show will run through Sunday, February 9th, 2014.
The Carriage Barn Arts Center is a non-profit arts organization that promotes artistic expression and enriches the community through exhibitions, education, and other cultural experiences. The Carriage Barn Arts Center offers artists opportunities to exhibit their work in an exceptional gallery space in a unique nineteenth-century stone barn. Exhibitions, lectures, educational workshops, concerts and other events are held in this adaptively reused historical building on the grounds of a former estate, now Waveny Park.
Gallery hours are Wednesday – Saturday from 10 am – 3 pm, Sunday 1 – 5 pm. The Carriage Barn Arts Center is located in Waveny Park, off South Avenue (Rte. 124), 1/4 mile north of Merritt Parkway Exit 37. Tel: 203.972.1895 or www.carriagebarn.org.
