The fourth annual World Down Syndrome Day celebration will take place Sunday, March 23, from 2:00 to 4:00 at the New Canaan YMCA.
The even is co-sponsored by the Y and 21 Strong, a group of families in Fairfield County who came together because Down syndrome has enriched their lives. www.21strong.org.
Activities for all ages are free and include a Bouncing Bears gym, floor hockey, Zumba, basketball, karate, singing and signing, arts and crafts and more.
The celebration aims to raise awareness of Down syndrome and promote greater appreciation of those living with it.
