Darien GOP Seeks Volunteers for RTC Vacancy

The Darien Republican Town Committee is accepting applications to fill a vacancy created recently by the resignation of John Sini.  Mr. Sini, a former RTC Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer was endorsed by the Republican Caucus to run for a position on the Planning & Zoning Commission in this November’s municipal elections.

To be a member of the RTC you must be a registered Republican in the town of Darien.    The committee meets monthly and members serve two-year terms.  The current term ends in early 2014.

The RTC recruits and recommends Republicans for appointive offices on town boards, commissions and other offices, raises funds for local, state and federal campaigns and provides support for both the Darien and Connecticut State Republican Parties.
