In addition to learning dance in a supportive classroom/studio environment, students are encouraged to perform on stage in the annual spring showcase. This past showcase “Seasons” featured  Winter Ice Skaters from Les Patineurs Ballet, Spring Bluebirds from the music of classical composer Shostakovich, Summer Jazz and Autumn Princesses dancing a lively Strauss polka.  The finale featured a Degas painting that came to life as the oldest dancers stepped out of an actual frame to dance. “The beauty of the Seasons truly came to life” comments Mrs. McLeod.
