Teen Binge Drinking Documentary & Discussion Monday

The Youth Asset Team presents HAZE, Documentary Film Screening and Discussion about Underage Binge Drinking in Honor of Alcohol and Asset Awareness Month.

The documentary tells the tragic story of Greenwich, CT native Lynn Gordon Bailey Jr. ("Gordie") who dies from binge drinking in his freshman year of college.

The film also weaves together a collection of interviews by many national experts on the subject of alcohol abuse.

The Community Fund, YWCA Parent Awareness, Thriving Youth, Family Centers, and Darien Library are co-sponsoring this powerful film on Monday, April 28, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Darien Library Community Room.

Following the screening, there will be a short question and answer session, moderated by Amanda Romaniello, LPC, Darien Family Centers, featuring high school graduates on the panel.  This program is appropriate for all parents and high school-aged students.
