Hidden Dryer Vent Hazard

We removed this Roof Vent Screen from a customers dryer vent, just like the Lint screen in the dryer, this plugs up, is a major fire hazard, increases drying times, shortens the life of the dryer and is not safe to use, (was installed by the builder) Code states "no bird screens on dryer vent" we found it during a regular cleaning and inspection, vent is now safe to use.
