Joan Bergen Leads New Beginning Bridge Class at the DCA!

The Darien Community Association (DCA) is offering Beginning Bridge classes starting on Tuesday, February 4, 2014.

Perfect for the absolute beginner, this Beginning Bridge covers the basics of the game in a private setting. Instructor Joan Bergen is a long-time Darien resident who, after studying bridge intently for 8 years, is driven to teach others. Students will benefit from Joan’s enthusiasm and love for the game that she describes as both a great way to meet people, and a great activity to keep the mind sharp.

This Beginning Bridge class will be held on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30am for six weeks: February 4, 11, 25 and March 4, 11 & 18. Course fees are $170, or $150 for DCA members. Fees include the course book, which will be given to students on the first day. Prepayment is required, and registration closes at noon on Thursday, January 30th. A minimum number of prepaid students is necessary to run the class, with a maximum of 8 students.
