New Exhibit Featured at Art/Place Gallery @ The Watermark at 3030 Park

The Watermark at 3030 Park is pleased to announce that Art/Place Gallery @ The Watermark will feature an all-member group exhibition at The Watermark at 3030 Park from May 10 through June 27.

The opening reception for the exhibit, entitled Creative Perspectives, will be held on Wednesday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the retirement community, located at 3030 Park Avenue on the Bridgeport/Fairfield town line. This exhibit will present a broad selection of original work in multiple mediums depicting each artist’s unique perspective on the subjects presented. The artists will be available to discuss their work at the reception, which will include hors d’oeuvres and entertainment by pianist Tony Procaccini.

“We are once again thrilled to have Art/Place Gallery and its group of talented artists exhibit at The Watermark,” said Chris Romick, Executive Director at The Watermark at 3030 Park. “This partnership has been very well received by our residents and guests and we hope they will enjoy this latest installment, with a wide variety of pieces for them to explore.”

The artists in the Watermark exhibition have exhibited widely throughout the Fairfield County area as well as in New York and Connecticut, and are members of many regional arts organizations.

“Art/Place Gallery @ The Watermark provides a unique experience of firsthand interaction between the creators of the works shown and the viewers who are experiencing these visual images,” said Art/Place Vice President and exhibiting artist Dave Pressler.

The collaboration between The Watermark retirement community and Art/Place Gallery, a non-profit, cooperative art gallery celebrating its 32nd anniversary year, aims to provide both residents and guests of The Watermark at 3030 Park with the opportunity to experience the real work of fine artists, in a friendly, welcoming environment.
