Preschool gets a visit from DHS students

Methodist Family Center Preschool (MFCP) students were joined by Darien High School (DHS) students for a morning of reading, crafts and fun on Wednesday, November 20. 2013.  The two schools joined forces to give the older students an opportunity to work with younger kids.  And, the younger students were thrilled to have a visit from the older students.  The teachers from both establishments seemed to enjoy watching the kids work so well together.  This program has been running for about five years, according to MFCP director, Laurie Anderson.  She stated, "The connection between the preschool and high school students is great.  It is a win-win situation."
