Access Health CT is a new health insurance marketplace being developed by the State of Connecticut to satisfy the requirements of the federal Affordable Care Act (aka “Obamacare”). Their mission is to increase the number of CT residents who are insured, lower their costs, promote health and eliminate health disparities. Access Health CT is planned to operate at no cost to the state or its taxpayers.

Her diverse background combined with her passionate conviction that everyone should have professional guidance in dealing with an increasingly complex, expensive and adversarial healthcare world, make her a particularly effective advocate. . Maura is also a newly appointed member of the Access Health Board of Directors and a long time Darien resident.
