DARIEN, CT., July 18, 2013 – The Darien Arts Center, (arts.darien.org), is pleased to announce that it is offering ongoing summer classes for children to help accommodate the changing needs of families during summer break. There are many ways for kids to beat the heat at the DAC including art, music and dance workshops and classes.

Creative summer opportunities for children from ages 8-12 include the art workshop “Summer Sculpture: Action Reaction”. Children will experience using imagination, wire, and plaster to make one-of-a-kind sculptures that capture the feeling and excitement of a physical moment. This workshop will meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, July 29, 31, and August 1, from 2:15-3:45pm.
