Want your teen to be a safer, more aware driver? This spring, the public is invited to attend Survive the Drive’s Teen Driver Safety presentation hosted by Grand Prix New York.

“Recreational karting facilities have a vested interest in promoting teen driver safety,” said driver safety expert, Bob Green. “Kart racing can be enjoyable, challenging and fun, but driving on the public roads is serious business.”

Bob Green, Survive the Drive President and Executive Director, will be offering an interactive and highly energetic presentation addressing the distractions that affect teens today. Anyone who feels they could use a lesson in distracted driving – teens, parents, grandparents – is encouraged to attend.

“Drivers have always had distractions. Now, the distractions are more pervasive and intrusive. Lives can change in a heartbeat; the slightest error can be tragic,” Green said.

The program, which will include refreshments and an onsite tour, will be held at Grand Prix New York at 333 North Bedford Road in Mount Kisco, NY on March 26th from 6-8pm with a $10 donation per person. Hands-on teen driving schools Drive Safer, Drive In Control, and Skip Barber Racing School have donated gift certificates to be awarded to one winner at each event location.

Survive the Drive motivates and informs novice drivers, through comprehensive educational presentations, to understand their own vulnerability and imprint safe driving attitudes, behaviors and techniques.
