Darien First Selectman Announces Newtown Memorial Service
First Selectman Stevenson announced a Community Prayer Service in memory of the victims of the Newtown tragedy.
First Selectman Jayme Stevenson announced Monday that Darien would host a Community Prayer Service on Wednesday in memoriam of the Newtown tragedy.
Stevenson said the service, which would be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening at "Darien's oldest place of worship," the First Congregational Church, would serve to allow Darien residents to support one another and remember the victims of Friday's tragedy.
