How to Strengthen Your Core with Plank Exercises

Plank exercises strengthen your abdominal muscles as you keep them tense and hold your body straight during the exercise, explained Guttuso, like Fay, a personal trainer at Flair.

When you're comfortable with a plank exercise, Guttuso said, it's time to take it up to the next level.
