The patio is open at Jimmy's Southside Tavern in Noroton Heights and with the warmer weather there's a change in the menu, too.
"We had a pork dish and a lamb shank," said owner Jimmy Love. "They sold well in the heartier weather, but now we've gone into cold salads and more cold soups."
A shrimp-clams-oyster-half lobster combo plate is also now on the menu, along with a few more sandwiches for lunch, he said.
This is the first spring for the restaurant, which opened its doors in October in the space formerly occupied by Phil's Grill.
"We'll add a couple of (people for) summer help now that we're out here," he said from the patio.
