They're Giving Stuff Away on Noroton Ave., But Be Quick

Come and get it while it lasts, but the free stuff the Dorris family is giving away won't be around by mid-morning Tuesday.

A white rocking chair, an interesting floor lamp, a framed print (or was it a poster?) were among the miscelaneous items near the sidewalk in front of 67 Noroton Ave. at mid-afternoon Monday.

They, along with some books, folding chairs and other items, were left over from a tag sale this weekend.

Frances Dorris said her family has been in town since 2004, and on Noroton Avenue for a year. They're moving elsewhere in town.

By mid-morning Tuesday, Frances said, it's all going to the Darien Swap Shop at the town dump.
