Maxine Berg, co-owner at Jade Active clothing at Goodwives Shopping Center, says she's finding oranges and yellows are popular colors right now for fitness wear but also other clothing her customers are buying.
"After the awful weather we've had, when it was so gray and dreary, I think we all like more color," she said.
Women also like "narrower legs in a pant, to be sure," nowadays, and (even though it's just the opposite of a black color), they like them in black "because we all like the slimming of black pants."
Women are wearing exercise and fitness studio clothing outside of the humor fitness studio nowadays, Berg said.
"You go off to coffee or pick up the kids, and you don't have to go home to change, like when you were wearing sweat pants," she said.
