Today in Darien: Piano Music, Fire Safety for Pets

Darien Kiwanis' annual golf tournament tees off Thursday at Sterling Farms Golf Course in Stamford. If you want to join, it'll cost you $175. Money raised goes to Kids in Crisis and the Kiwanis Scholarship Fund. The tournament begins at 12:45 p.m., with registration. For more details, see the event listing on Darien Patch.

Classically trained pianist Bonnie Leidner will play at the Darien Senior Center, 30 Edgerton St., from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday during lunch.

Darien native and artist Robert Carley has an exhibit of his post-9/11 photos  ("Flags Across America: The Photographs of Robert Carley") showing now through Sept. 22 at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich.
