St. Thomas More Church, Darien, will present a Memorial Lessons and Carols Service at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, to remember the victims of the Newtown tragedy.
You and your families are invited to join us for a comforting and consoling hour of inspiring choral and instrumental music, along with traditional carol singing. The Adult Choir and soloists, together with the Lumina String Quartet, will lead us through this liturgy of song in which nine lessons are told, recounting Scripture. Lessons and Carols tells the story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus.
