Stamford resident Vernice Holmes has worked as a fashion designer and illustrator in NYC's garment center designing woman's apparel for such retailers as Nordstroms, Macys, Dillards and several specialty store chains across the country. Vernice has traveled from Europe to the Far East shopping for the newest trends and styles to then design and oversee her own creations.

With a passion to ignite and promote small businesses and entrepreneurs within her own community she started contacting her network of friends that either own or are emerging business owners. From designers, to artists, photographers, artisans, holistic "crafters" and small boutique owners Vernice gathered an array of merchants to represent a diverse yet non-mass produced collection of products and services for an evening of fun, food, music and shopping. "My goal is to invite residents to shop and discover local talent while building business relationships within our communities," says Vernice.

Tickets are $20.00 for hor d'ourves, music and shopping. Cash Bar. Sorry no tickets at the door. Dress is Upscale. The Country Club of Darien’s house rules of no jeans must be adhered to. For more information and to purchase tickets please contact Vernice Holmes @iamverniceholmes@aol.com
