Darien Library Story SLAM! Personal Stories of Connections

On Thursday, July 28 at 7 p.m., Darien Library will host a Story SLAM, a special storytelling event for adults. The theme for the evening’s stories will be Connections – connections to people, places, things, hobbies, events, dates in history - are what make life exciting. Come share a personal story about a connection that is meaningful to you.

At the Story SLAM, the microphone will be open to anyone with a story to tell on the evening’s theme. Participants will each have 5 minutes in front of the microphone to tell their prepared, original, personal stories.

The Story SLAM also welcomes listeners!

This Story SLAM is part of the Library’s Adult Summer Reading Program, “You’re Connected!”
