Darien Teens Sing Free Concerts on Sunday, June 6

Vocal artistry and technique will take center stage on June 6, when 27 teenage singers will present their spring recitals at Noroton Presbyterian Church in Darien.

The public is invited to the free concert, which will be presented in two sections, with students grouped by age.  The Junior Recital with middle school through grade 10 singers starts at 3:00 pm, and the Senior Recital with singers in grades 11 and 12 starts at 7:00 pm.

The 3:00 p.m. Junior Recital program will include big band tunes made famous by the "Rat Pack," as well as highlights from Rogers and Hammerstein's musical theatre works, including a review of "Sound of Music."
