Evan Thomas, best-selling author and Ferris Professor of Journalism at Princeton University, returns to Barrett Bookstore to talk about his latest book "Ike's Bluff: President Eisenhower's Secret Battle to Save the World".
Using diaries (including a daily record kept by Eisenhower's doctor) and newly declassified papers, Evan Thomas has written a fast-paced and highly human drama of a man and a decade that seems calm today only because Eisenhower's bluff worked.
Refreshments will be served.
