Plans for SideWalk Sales and Family Fun Days are progressing well. Super Slide, Obstacle Course, Live Music, Lime Rock Race Car, Alfresco Dining and Bargains Galore will tempt everyone from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., rain or shine.
The community needs to know that Day Street will be Closed Saturday July 17. People with limited mobility who need parking places right in front of the door of the business they are going to might want to plan to do their errands prior to Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of that week. (Brook Street, Grove Street and Squab Lane will all remain open to facilitate traffic flow.)
The Chamber of Commerce hopes the SideWalk Sales will be helpful to all the retail businesses that are participating and also that the Darien residents and business community are supportive.
