Joining Darien High Students to Oppose Texting or Drinking and Driving

I joined the students of Darien High School to raise awareness of the dangers of both texting while behind the wheel and drinking and driving. The school's Safety Fair was held in partnership with Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD) and the Darien Depot Youth Center. Drunk driving is a horribly irresponsible behavior that kills thousands of Americans every year. Though texting and driving may seem less harmful to some people, it too proves deadly, especially among teenagers but for people of all ages. The more that we can promote good driving habits, and the more that teenagers can encourage their friends to use their good judgment, the safer our roads will be.
