Following tradition, the Darien Monuments and Ceremonies Commission will observe 9/11 on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 8:30am at the 9/11 Memorial located behind , 204 Hollow Tree Ridge Rd, Darien.
Roses will be placed and a moment of silence will be observed at 8:46 a.m., the time the first plane struck the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. The public is welcome.
