Healing Wings of Hope sponsord by the Darien Domestic Abuse Partnership

Butterfly release of 124 butterflies to represent the 124 domestic violence calls received by the Darien Police Department over the last year.  David Campbell,  First Selectman and Terri Wood, State Representative will be present.  A proclamation from the Governor of CT inaugurating October as "Domestic Violence Awareness Month" will be read. Members of Teen Peace Works from Darien High School  (student led groups who raise awareness about dating violence and domestic violence)  will be in attendance.

Proceeds will benefit the Domestic Violence Crisis Center.

The public is welcome to attend and refreshments will be served following the event.
