YWCA Darien/Norwalk Masquerade Ball

The YWCA Darien/Norwalk is pleased to announce this year’s spring benefit dinner dance, The Masquerade Ball, which will be held at the Country Club of Darien on March 24, 2012.  Tickets for the benefit will go on sale starting mid-February at the YWCA Darien/Norwalk website www.ywcadariennorwalk.org or by calling the YW at 203-655-2535 ext. 301.

The YWCA has proudly held a Spring Benefit for over 25 years.  This year we are very excited to have the theme of The Masquerade Ball inviting intrigue, mystery and surprise for our guests.  An open bar and dinner are included at the event and guests may choose who they would like seated at their table.  Guests can mingle, dine and dance at this event which includes cocktails and a sit down dinner.  A silent and live auction will also be featured.

This event is usually attended by new area residents (the Newcomers Club of Darien) as well as others who have lived in the area.  The event raises funds for the YWCA Darien/Norwalk and its community outreach programs.  These programs include Parent Awareness which encourages the positive development of Darien youth by providing education to families and Job Search Support which provides women with the support and tools needed to find employment.
