Congratulations to Burgers, Shakes & Fries for serving the best burger in town, according Darien Patch readers!

The winner of this week’s Readers’ Choice contest for is: 

The Darien Patch describes it as offering "burgers, chicken, hot dogs, salads, desserts, fries, onion rings, shakes and malts. This location also serves beer and wine. Milkshake flavors include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee, cinnamon, Neopolitan and black-and-white, plus a changing daily special. The restaurant can host parties for up to 65 guests."

Michael: 7:54 a.m. Friday. ***** "Best burger in town and one of the best wine and craft beer selections around!! Great design and family friendly. Best part: watching games at the bar with no crowd!!"

Sid D. Awghy: 3:57 p.m. Tuesday. ***** "Simply put, this place knows burgers. No frills, efficient, and fresh. Neopolitan milkshake was a wonderful concoction that nicely washed down the delicious cheeseburger I had. Strongly recommend!"

paulie v.: 10:54 a.m. Wednesday. ***** "went to this place last week. the first perfect medium rare burger i had in a long time. cheddar and sauteed onions. service was great, sat at the bar. steel rail ipa was especially good. can't wait to go back with my whole family."
