Description: Sarah Darer Litmann, author of Want To Go Private?, a story about a ninth grade girl whose random Internet chat led her to a sad, unfortunate and unhappy meeting with a predator.

Ms. Litman's book is a quick - though alarming - read.  It is a case study for parents and teens unaware of what can happen to unsuspecting and overtrusting young people on today's essential communication medium.

She will discuss the book, explain the how and the why of Internet predators, and tell parents what they can do to assure that their children use today's social media appropriately.

Description: Greenwich High School hosts the annual Essentially Ellington Regional Festival (sponsored by Jazz at Lincoln Center), that will feature 10  talented high school jazz ensembles, as well as an exhibition performance by world class jazz musicians and clinicians who serve as the adjudicators.

New Canaan: Easter Egg Hunt

Description: The New Canaan Women’s League stuffs 10,000 eggs with candy for this hunt, which also features a visit from the Easter Bunny, live music, baked goods, bouncy castles and more.

Description: First, a hayride will take parents and children to an egg-hunting hike on the trails. Wilton: Chamber Chorus Concert

Description: The Music on the Hill Chamber Chorus, a professional vocal ensemble, performs  a concert, "There Will Be Joy," featuring Randall Thompson's "The Peaceable Kingdom" and Peter Klatzow's "Prayers of Praise from Africa" with text from Desmond Tutu's An African Prayer Book. The chorus will perform a cappella, taking advantage of the venue's vibrant acoustics.  Ellen Dickinson, Music on the Hill co-artistic director, conducts.
