Bully, the emotional documentary centered on "peer-to-peer bullying in schools across America," has yet to make its way to Darien, according to Internet Movie Database (IMDb) and Fandango.com.

The 98-minute documentary is currently being shown at the Bow Tie Cinemas Majestic 6 theater on Summer St. in Stamford and Bow Tie Cinemas Plaza 3 on Railroad Ave. in Greenwich.  But the documentary has yet to come to Darien.

The Harvey Weinstein production has been in the press because of the initial "R" rating it received from the Motion Picture Association of America.  The rating, after protest from the likes of Meryl Streep and Justin Bieber, has since been changed to where it currently stands at "PG-13."  The rating was changed to encourage more children to see the serious and emotional, but clean, documentary.

"This year, over 13 million American kids will be bullied at school, online, on the bus, at home, through their cell phones and on the streets of their towns, making it the most common form of violence young people in this country experience," the documentary's description on IMDb reads. "Bully is the first feature documentary film to show how we've all been affected by bullying, whether we've been victims, perpetrators or stood silent witness."

Kids need to see this. Let's kick Three Stooges out and watch something that could change lives.  You're not too cool.
