  • SUNDAY, Dec. 5: The Princeton Tigertones, an all-male a cappella group, perform two free shows at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the Darien Library Auditorium. Library staff members will be "handing out tickets at the Welcome Desk about an hour before each show begins, and opening doors 30 minutes before each concert kicks off. Only one ticket will be available per person, and a limited number of standing room only seats will be available for each show."

Kids:

  • : Doors open at 3:30 p.m. for a 4 p.m. showing at : The annual "Community-Wide Movie" benefiting the Social Services Holiday Gift drive. While free, "in lieu of payment, each movie-goer is asked to bring donations as follows: gift cards [...] a new toy, books, etc. (All items should be new and unwrapped with a value of at least $10 each.)"  To get tickets, an adult should visit the Darien Youth Commission office in Town Hall between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday or Friday to get tickets for admission. Moviegoers should bring tickets and gifts to the theater.
  • Darien Library Drop-In Time: 4:15 to 5:45 p.m.: "We've Got Game: An afternoon gaming program playing Nintendo Wii on the big screen. Kids are encouraged to bring their own handhelds. Ages 7 and up."
