  • Get Puzzled: Help the Darien Library solve the world's largest jigsaw puzzle in record time for a chance to be entered into the Guinness Book of World Records.
  • Story Times: Two different story times are also scheduled at the library today. Drop by from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. for "Preschool Time," featuring stories, songs, and act-outs for children ages 3 to 5. Then from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., bring your family to "Sleepytime Stories," a pajama story time.

  • Bulk Pickup: Darien's wraps up Tuesday, so if you've been putting it off, now's the time to make an appointment (one free per household) using the town's service request form or by calling 203-656-7374.
  • Dog Licenses: Darien's annual dog licensing period continues today and runs through the end of the month. To avoid a penalty, new licenses must be procured on or before June 30 when the current ones expire.
