EVENTS

  • Wii Wake-Up for Seniors: Today from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., the will  with Nintendo Wii. Seniors can learn how to play Wii, then go bowling, shoot a round of golf, throw a virtual frisbee, and more.
  • NFD Bingo: The hosts its from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Families are welcome at the event.
  • Secret World of Bubbles: Keith Michael Johnson will "teach the science of bubbleology" from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the library's community room. Tickets for kids (K though 5th) will be distributed 15 minutes before the program. Space is limited.
  • Community Supper: St. Luke's Parish from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Dog Licenses: Darien's annual dog licensing period continues today and runs through the end of the month. To avoid a penalty, new licenses must be procured on or before June 30 when the current ones expire. Owners can stop by the 's office (Town Hall room 101) weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For information on fees and required paperwork, check here.
  • Get Puzzled: Help the library solve the world's largest jigsaw puzzle in record time for a chance to be entered into the Guinness Book of World Records.
