  • The Mars Project: The Darien Summer Nights series wraps up today at Grove Street Plaza with a performance by the Mars Project. Music runs from 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Mom's Morning In: The 's Mom's Morning In series continues today at 10 a.m. with a performance by Les Julian. The cost is $10 per child per event or $150 for a full-year pass. For details on the series, visit here.
  • The ConspiratorDrop by the  at 7:30 p.m. for a free screening of The Conspirator, part of the library's Friday Night Film Series. The 2010 picture stars Robin Wright, James McAvoy, and Tom Wilkinson. Light refreshments will be served.
  • Friday Reads: From 10 to 11 a.m., Darien's Lisa Adams will be at the library for Friday Reads, a global community that comes together each week on Twitter to share whatever they're reading. Drop by, introduce yourself, and tell her what book you're working on. Today's theme: back to school.
  • We've Got Game: Ages 7 and up can come by the library from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. for a chance to play Nintendo Wii on the big screen. Kids are encouraged to bring their own handhelds.
