China: Threat or Opportunity?: Tonight at 7:30 p.m., the Common Ground Committee will host a discussion at  titled "?" Panelists including Alan Tonelson and Dr. John Rutledge will discuss issues such as "the loss of manufacturing jobs to China, the huge imbalance of Sino-American trade, and the escalating U.S. government debt held by China."

Bulk Pickup: Darien's  continues today and runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays through June 21. Residents must make appointments (one free per household) using the town's service request form or by calling 203-656-7374.

Art Show and Sale: The 's annual continues today from noon to 5:30 p.m. The exhibit, which features art by children and adults who live or work in Darien, will be open daily through Saturday.
