Forum on Shuffle Referendum Set for Thursday
Darien District 5 members of the Representative Town Meeting are sponsoring a public information meeting in Town Hall, Room 206 at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The meeting is open to Darien residents outside District 5, as well.
The following announcement was sent to Patch by Jim Patrick on behalf of the District 5 members of the Representative Town Meeting:
The Darien Representative Town Meeting District 5 members will host a meeting at Darien Town Hall, Room 206, on Thursday December 8, 2011 at 7:30 pm.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide opportunity for residents of District 5 to ask questions and express constructive concerns about the proposal generally known as “The Shuffle” regarding which a referendum vote will be held December 13, 2011.

Town Officials are encouraged to attend to respond to questions from District 5 residents.
This meeting is open to the public, and residents from other Districts in Darien may be given time for questions and comments at the discretion of the RTM District 5 members.
